It's time for another Five for Friday, hosted by Doodle Bugs Teaching.
Fall is definitely in the air. To celebrate we made acorns this week.
First, we cut them out.
Next, we painted a mixture of karo syrup, water, and brown paint on the bottom half.
Then, we painted some glue across the top.
Last, we sprinkled chocolate sprinkles on the glue.
The sweeties loved this messy, but fun art activity. :)
We also made squirrels.
We finger painted the squirrel pattern, added wiggle eyes and fur cut from a boa.
We went on a nature walk. We collected leaves, nuts, sticks, bark, and so much more!
I posted a new pack on TpT. It's just in time for Thanksgiving.

Thanks for reading! Have a great day. :)

I love those squirrels! Super cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to have the kids finish their artwork in a tray! I shy away from glitter because it's so messy, but that's a great idea! Thank you!
