Halloween Fun!

I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching to share my week with Kasey's Five for Friday linky party.
You'll have to forgive the amount of pictures in this post. We had such a fun week, I tried to capture it as much as possible.
We read the book 'Hallo-Wiener by Dav Pilkey.  After, each little one decided how to decorate their own wiener dog for Halloween.
There we some really creative choices!
Batman,
Ariel,
and, The Incredible Hulk were just a few of the costumes given to the dogs.
Each little sweetie received a pumpkin to take home.  Before they took them home, we washed them, drew on them with dry erase markers, then hammered golf tee's into them for some great fine motor practice.
Each sweetie pie decorated their own jack-o-lanterns.  I love how unique each one tuned out!
Tuesday was our 'Pumpkin Fun Day'.  Some of our activities included:
A bean bag toss into a jack-o-lantern,
pumpkin bowling,
playing musical chairs to Halloween songs,

and some spooky sensory table fun.  :)
We ended the week by practicing how to trick or treat.
Each little trick or treater decorated a treat bag that included the steps to trick or treating.
Then we went several places through out our school to practice those steps.
It was great practice and a good excuse to get an extra wear of Halloween costumes.
Are these not the most adorable kids in the world?
I am in L.O.V.E. with them!
I hope you had a great week and a safe Halloween.
Thanks for reading!  Have a great day.  :)

  1. A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. as always! i love the Trick or Treat practice. I bought a doorbell this year to use as a stop and pay attention tool. It would have been perfect for you and your littles. I haven't forgotten about your apron! It's being sewn right now and will be on its way shortly!! Happy weekend!

  2. Thanks, Sandy! I always love your comments. :)
I look forward to my apron. Don't stress about getting it ready, though!
