Sensational Science Fun!

I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching to showcase our week of sensational science fun.

 As any good scientist will tell you, you need googles while your conducting your experiments!
 After printing, cutting out the middle, laminating, and adding an elastic string, we were ready for action!
Our first experiment was 'sink or float'.  We gathered a variety of objects to conduct this experiment.
 After carefully choosing an object and hypothesizing whether it would sink or float...
The little scientist dropped it into the water…..
and then recorded the results.
 We learned about different tools scientists used.  Each little scientist took a magnifying glass and explored the room, including magnifying our own unique fingerprints.
 We also magnified pictures that we had to match to a larger photo.
This was done with a partner to encourage cooperative learning.
 Magnets are always an all time favorite scientific inquiry…{as you can easily see on these precious faces}
We recorded our results in this little book…
Another experiment conducted was color mixing….
We learned that two primary colors mixed together will make a secondary color.  These scientists took their jobs very seriously.
And then, as any good scientist does, they recorded the results.
LOVED this week of learning!
You can find my Sensational Science Pack HERE at my TPT store.
Tell us about your week!
Thanks for reading!  Have a great day.  :)
