One Little Word

I am linking up with Sunny Days in Second Grade for My Truth Monday.   This week the post is about OLW (one little word). The idea comes from Ali Edwards.  It goes like this.
Choose one word. One little word that sums up who you want to be or how you want to live. One little word that will become your mantra for the entire year. One little word that will define and shape your year. 
That was hard for me (does that tell you a little bit about myself?)  Anyway, after going back and forth I finally settled for this one.
PEACE
As soon as it came to me I knew it was the ONE.  The OLW I need in my life.  The OLW I would be proud to wear on a necklace!
Peace to me encompasses so much.
Accepting
Joyful
Presence
Hope
Grace
Devoted
Faith
Harmony
Balance
Cherish
Zen
...................the list could go on and on
2013 was a trying year in many aspects. It ended well, but for many months I didn't have much peace, However, I did learn a lot about myself.  One thing I came away with was the realization that I could live through just about anything and still survive.  That brought me peace. That is what I want to live.
