Classroom Decor Pins Linky!

Ashley from Just Reed is hosting a weekly Ten Pin Linky Party and the theme this week includes Top 10 Classroom Decor Pins.  Long before I started my blog I was obsessed with Pinterest and all the great teaching ideas.  Part of the excitement was finding fabulous classroom decor ideas that I could easily incorporate in my own class (or at least try!)  All the pins listed are found on my Preschool Wonders Classroom Decor Board

My top 10 decor pins are as follows:
CHAIRS!

My goal this summer is to make a student size chair to use as a "sweet seat".  My sister was subbing in a class when one student got up and sat in a special chair.  He said "I need to sit here so I can be sweet again".  It was a great way for him to regulate his own behavior. I would also love to recover my desk chair to make it more fun.

PENNANTS!

 
 
 

Last summer I bought some colorful pennant curtains for my classroom from Ikea. I love them! To carry over the theme, I would love to add some pennants to my classroom decor.  

LIGHTING, POM POMS, & PUFFS (oh, my!)

  

I am a sucker for fun lighting and things hanging from my ceiling!  I love all of the above options.
